Hey there, it’s the band’s resident soundcheck person and percussionist, Ken! Haha, what to put, what to put, what to put? :)) Anyways, let’s start!
Anyways, I’ll start by introducing myself. Again, I’m Ken, and I’ve been a member of Accord since October, 2011. I’m also a student at the University of the Philippines, taking up Geology. Now you may think it’s so dirty, but trust me, it’s not. It’s actually fun and interesting. :D I’m also a gamer, I play usually Racing, Shooting, Action games, Aircraft games and Simulation games. Games are my outlet after a stressful day. A good game session would remove the stress from my system. :) I’m also a military tech buff and a heavy machinery buff. Adik ako sa mga ganyang bagay nung maliit ako. May collections ako ranging from military aircraft to payloaders, dump trucks, etc. :))
How I got into Accord was a bit of a coincidence. It all started with the band’s “common friend”, Justin, inviting me to their gig. The gig was actually a battle of the bands. Yeah, history happened during the gig, and after a few convos, they asked me if I wanted to be a part of the band. I, without hesitation, accepted the offer. So there, I was officially part of the band. :D So a few motnhs and a gig later, I’m here right now at my present position. I am deeply grateful for the band for accepting me to be a part of them. I also learned a lot of stuff just by being with them. :D
So there it goes, my 1st post on the Accord tumblr. Hope you enjoyed reading as much as I have enjoyed making this post. :) Pagpasensyahan na lang yung kababawan sa ibang parts. :)) This is Ken, signing off. :D

Hey everybody! :D Your musical Norse God is here letting you guys know what’s happening with Accord Band lately. So the month of Halloween is gone, but before we do let it pass let me talk about the last three gigs we had that month.
Oct 15 was awesome at Stef Tan’s debut. Simple yet awesomely done acoustic gig with just me and Virtuoso Justin
Oct 28 was THE BOMB! Thank you ESS for being such a wonderful audience :D We’re sure to come back again next year :)
Oct 29 was so so. Lose or not the experience was perfectly worth it :)
So anyway here I am in San Francisco, sneezing and freezing the stuffing out of myself. A few days I’ll be moving to a colder place in NYC. Brrrrrr I wonder how I will survive. Be it as it may though, this is the perfect opportunity to write more original material! So keep yourselves intact and that will come out pretty soon :D
I won’t be the only one writing a blog today so watch out for more blogs from each and every member of Accord!
We’ll more likely to have gigs anytime soon within this month. Also in preparation for Christmas we have an upcoming project that you guys might wanna hang on into! So stay with us alright! :D
